About the Author

Hi my name is Herb and I am the landscape designer and foreman for Techmer Nursery.  I have been working in this Industry professionally for 20 + years.  I grew up working for my father landscaping and helping out around the nursery. Later I joined the U.S. Army Reserve and served as a combat engineer.  I gained a lot of experience in general construction, road construction, equipment operation and land surveying.  I also attended The Ohio State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture.  I then ran my own independent  landscape construction business for several years in Ohio designing and building outdoor entertainment spaces for clients.

Currently I am working for the family business creating beautiful outdoor living spaces for my clients and growing quality landscape plants for our garden center customers.  You are welcome to stop by the nursery and see all of the wonderful and exciting options to landscape your home.
