From New Paltz, NY.   Drive south on Rout 32 for 5 miles. We are located on the corner of Rt. 32 & Alhusen Rd. You went too far if you reach the intersection of Rt. 32 & Rt. 44/55 in the town of Modena

An American Success Story Hi my name is Horst Techmer and I am the owner of Techmer Nursery. I am originally from Germany and I immigrated to the United States in 1968. Growing up in Germany I was schooled in Horticulture and earned a degree in my field of study. I worked for nurseries and landscaping companies in both Germany and Luxemburg. In 1974 I started my nursery and landscaping business right here in the Hudson Valley building my nursery from the ground up. Over the years I raised a family and grew my business.  Currently my two sons and I continue to grow the very best quality plants for our customers.  You are more than welcome to stop by the nursery and see all of the wonderful plants that we have to offer.
